Bathing water classifications that will apply during 2026 are below. 97% of our designated bathing waters now meet required standards and 82% achieve the Good or Excellent classifications.

Classifications are calculated at the end of the bathing water season, as per the Bathing Waters (Scotland) Regulations 2008, and apply to each bathing water for the duration of the following season.
